Wired Therapy were in school again on Thursday 11th May, with more proactive stress-relieving activities for our KS4 students who are preparing for their exams. Students practised long slow breathing by trying to push a Malteser along the table with a straw (without it falling on the floor), followed by eating a Malteser slowly, paying attention to all the senses - this proved quite tricky: Maltesers are just too tasty!
Students then ventured outside, looking for items with different qualities and sharing what they found.
Finally, we got creative and drew our items, paying attention to all the tiny details. One student discovered that green leaves make quite good ink!
And, of course, we got up close and personal with snails! An engaging experience, offering a bit of variety to our budding examination students!
