Last week (Wednesday 26th April-Friday 28th April) saw a group of our Year 11 students undertaking their Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award Expedition, and what an incredible experience it was!
The lads hiked over three days, covering a significant section of the Jurassic Coast. The terrain was a mixture of easy-going coastal path, rocky ascents and extremely muddy descents.
The students camped and cooked their own meals, all whilst maintaining cheery and enthusiastic demeanours throughout. Expedition Leader Ali said: "I'm really proud of the perseverance and determination of these students; their awards will be well deserved". As a school community, we couldn't agree more.
